Francis Larson is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter raised in the desert of Arizona.  After classical training with the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Boys Choir, he cut his teeth busking in over 40 countries and collecting anecdotes from rain-soaked Normandy, beach towns of New Zealand, winters in northern Minnesota, foggy islands of South Korea, and eclectic ruin bars of Budapest. He writes music that vacillates between heartland Americana rock with a 90s flair to contemporary takes on the traditional folk song with minimalistic arrangements and a cappella vocals to let the stories shine through, as if 70s-era Jackson Browne fronted the Counting Crows but spent his formative years purposefully getting lost backpacking Europe and reading untranslated foreign literature past midnight.
